TMS470 tool chain version 4.6.3 throws error while building the DM816x codebase

Hi,

I am getting the unhandled exception while building the codebase using TMS470 tool chain version 4.6.3. Everytime, the error occurs at different files while building.

I tried with both CCS 4.2.0 version IDE and command window.

The tool chain was working fine previously, but suddenly this issue started.

I got struck because of this issue. Please help me to resolve this issue.

OS : Windows XP

CG tools: TMS470 V 4.6.3

CCS : 4.2.0

    Dhana,

    I suspect you are running into a known issue that we fixed a while ago. The bug # is SDSCM00036371 and caused the shell to crash randomly at different parts of the build. You may look at the details/status of the bug using the  SDOWP link in imy signature and entering the above bug #.

    This bug should be fixed in v4.6.4 and higher of the TMS470 cgtools, so please give the newer version a try and let us know if the problem persists.
    The latest release on the 4.6.x stream is 4.6.6. You can update to this version via CCS Update Manager.
