Code Composer V 3.3 Windows 7

I have just purchased the Renewable Energy development board.  Unfortunately it came with code composer V 3.3.  I have sinced realized that I need at least Code Composer Version 4.2 to work with Windows 7.  Is there a free upgrade to at least code composer 4.2? Otherwise I need to return my hardware as I am not going to downgrade to Windows XP to work with the board.

    Hi,

    Although I don't know this development kit in details, CCSv4.2 and (more recommended) v5.1 are freely available for download on the web - check the section Obtaining CCS from the CCSv5 Getting Started Guide.

    I am not sure which JTAG emulator is provided with this kit, but CCSv4 and v5.1 can be used free of charge with a low-cost XDS100 emulator - check the section Running CCS for the first time of the same page above.
