Where should I define the pre-define symbols which relate to linking file?

Hi,

During my development, I met one issue that I didn't know where to define the pre-defined symbol related to linking CMD file.

Requirement:
We have two configurations:
  • DEBUG
  • RELEASE

And two linking CMD files:
  • 28335_FLASH_lnk.cmd
  • 28335_RAM_lnk.cmd

Under DEBUG or RELEASE configuration, we may use each of the two linking CMD, but some pre-defiend symbols or macros are only related to one linking CMD file,
such as "FLASH_RUN" is only effective when 28335_FLASH_lnk.cmd is included.

So where should we define these symbols?

I have tried two ways, none of them worked.
1>Add them in "Project Properties->C/C++ build->Tools Settings->C2000 compiler->Pre-defined symbol"
2>Right click the link file->Properties->C/C++ build->Command File Preprocessing, add them into the option "pre-define preprocessor macro..."

BTW, my CCS4 version is: 4.2.3.00004.
Thanks very much by advanced!
