Recently I upgraded CCS from v4 to v5. After this CCS upgraded the MSPFET430-UIF to v3. With this update the target board is no longer powerd by the MSPFET..This causes me problems while debugging our devices with MSP430F47197 processor. When downgrading the mspfet to v2 the board can be powerd with jtag interface

Is the v3 of the mspfet430-uif ment to lose this feature? I can work around this issue (by powering the board with an external supply- but its complication my work...

Is ther any way to regain this feature?

I've noticed that I can only acces the board when external power is supplied, but after I've made connnection, I can remove the exteral power supply and still acces the board. The mspfet is now powering the board... Strange...

Hi Jannes,

I have already had some feedback. This is actually a know issue that we are working on. VCC is not being switched on directly after the FET gets connected to the PC.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon so please watch out for new released.

Hey Lisa,

Thank you for your quick answer! I suspected something like this :D.

Is there any time frame for this kind of update. This issue is making the development quite complex. (my board is powerd on a 3-phase grid...)

Unfortunately I can not really give any timeframe for the fix. Certainly the hope is for the next release/update.
