CODECOMPOSER: version 20.3 hangs during building project

Hi,

CCS 20.3 hangs during building project. Sometimes it can build a project successfully, but most of time it will hang. I can still click on "Cancel" button to cancel the building process. But no matter how long I wait, the building process is hanging at some point randomly.

I tested three projects that CCS 20.2 can build without problem. My system is macOS. I can't find related issue reported on E2E so that it might be only related to macOS.

Hi Robert,

Do you have both 20.2.0 and 20.3.0 installed on the same machine? And if so, the same projects build successfully on 20.2.0 but can hang on 20.3.0?

Hi Ki,

Yes, both 20.2 and 20.3 are installed.

I also find another issue with v20.3. The following messages occur when starting a debug session.

Can you try clearing out the workspace cache for CCS 20.3.0?
