CCSTUDIO: Proxy not working

Tool/software:

Version: 20.3.1.5__1.9.1

OS: EndeavourOS x86_64

Kernel: Linux 6.16.8-arch3-1

Problem:

I can't get the proxy to work. I have the "http_proxy" and "https_proxy" env variables set on my system and even when I set them explicitly in the settings or via CLI arguments I can't establish a connection.
If I try to start a new project and reload the project wizard the follwoing error appears:

Cannot GET /ccs-webview/tirex/theia-index.html

VsCode works just fine on my system. I've attached the log archive. I hope someone can assist me, I would really like to use this software for future projects.

Are you referring to the general settings in the IDE?

Yes, in the "Http: Proxy" setting I have entered the proxy information in the following format: http://<user>:<pw>@proxy.url:port

I also tried giving the same information when launching CCS via the commandline with the --proxy-url argument.

Additionally the http_proxy and https_proxy enviroment variables are set on my system with the proxy information and should be picked up by CCS

No to both. Edit: Searching for extensions does work and I was able to install one. Ressource explorer does not work.

When I deliberately enter a wrong password for the proxy, I get the following error in the ccs_theia_snapshot.log:

Error: tunneling socket could not be established, statusCode=407

When the password is correct, no such error appears. So the proxy settings do get applied.

I'm not sure what the problem could be and what to try next.

Can you open a *.syscfg file (assuming you have one in your project)?

After succesfully opening an example project using a different internet connection without a proxy I can open the syscfg file regardless of which connection I use.
