CCSv5 problem to monitor local variable in the Variables window in debbug mode

I want to monitor some local variables in debug but the Variables window seems to be disabled, I can only display global variables.

I am using F2833 and spectrum digital XDS510LC, CCS 5.1.0.09000
I try to use the watch window too . I haveattached a print screen

I can only display global variable in Expressions. I cannot read the value of static or local variables

Thanks for the screenshot. Are you building with any optimization enabled? What are your build options?

yes, I had to remove all the compiler optimisation.

In my case it helps for integers but iq (floats) values they are still unknown.
