Code Composer Version 4

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble running my program on code composer version 4. For some strange reason when I build the project then debug the active project it will not come up with the option to run the program. It does not have the toolbar appearing anymore. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Loilin,

Could you please provide a bit further information?

- what CCSv4 version do you run? Is it the latest production version?

-have you double checked that the toolbar is simply not been disabled somehow?

- does this occur with all your projects/workspaces?

- could you send a screenshot?

- do you get any errors? If so could you please send the error logs/dump files (.dmp) generated

I have a same issue with Loilin. My CCS version is 4.1.2.00027. The project is a simple "Hello" project. I have no problem when I built the project. There is no error message. I just follwoed the procedures exactly as in the guidlines. But when I tried to debug it, I can not find "RUN" and other debugging button. Please see the attachment.

HI Jimmy,

it looks like you may be in the debug perspective but with no active debug session. What happens if in the drop down menu seen in your screenshot you select "Debug active project"? What do you then see? Have you tried upgrading to the latest production release of v4? 4.2.5?

Normally if you had actually launched a debug session, your console window should indicate the code was loaded.

It looks like you do not have the debug view open. This view needs to be open for you to see the debug controls such as Run, Halt etc. Go to menu View and open the Debug view.
