  • Hi Osman,

what version of CCS are you using?   What license configuration is selected?  It seems that they license type you are trying to use is not one supporting the MSP.   It could also be your license file is corrupt. Please let me know and I will guide you in proper configuration.

    Best Regards,
    Lisa

  • My version is : CCS 4.2.1.00004
I dont remember what license configuration I chose before and I dont know where to look at it. sorry.
Here is 'License Model Name' that written in email that i received with license file : DSP-NLK-Perm-CCS

  • Hi Osman,

It appears you have a license that seems tied to your development kit and this is why the problem with the MSP430.

Would you be willing to do the following - please try installing to a new directory a separate installation of CCS and try that with the MSP and keep us informed?

    My recommendation is CCSv5:

If you wish to stick to v4 you can give the code size limited free version a try with your launchpad:

  • Hi Osman,

I just thought I would check whether you were able to get an MSP430 installation going.
