TMS320C6747: What version of CCS supports tms320c6747

I downloaded CCS v20 (Version: 20.4.1.4__1.10.1)

I do not see support for the c6747 (or any C6000 variant) even though the CG tools are installed on my PC. Do I need to use the old Eclipse IDE for this chip?

We have this chip in 10 of our products and I have started to become addicted to AI assited coding so I am tring to migrate from CCS v3.3 to an AI assited platform like vscode.

Will this chip be added or should I start designing this chip out?

Basic project and debug support is available for C674x in current versions of CCS 20.

I suspect the issue is that you don't see c6747 when you try to create a new project using the New Project Wizard. Please see:

Current versions of CCS 20 allow for some AI code assist integration. Please see: https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/application_notes/appnote-ccs_ai_code_assistant.html

Note that our next release (20.5.0) plans to take this even further with a much improved AI experience!
