MSPM0L1306: CCS Theia 20.4.1 make exits with error code but no message

Part Number: MSPM0L1306

I just imported my (multiple sub-folder) project from CCS 12.5 or so, and when I attempt to build it, make stops after apparently successfully building the last source file but there is no error message.

Can you give me a pointer as to what might be wrong?

Build of configuration 'Debug' for project 'genstart-fw' ****

"C:\\ti\\ccs2041\\ccs\\utils\\bin\\gmake" -k -j 22 all -0

gmake: Target 'all' not remade because of errors.

Can you try building using the project CLI commands from a dos command window?

I can't seem to make your suggestion work, but I did figure out that I had some empty folders that needed to be excluded from the build and that resolved the issue. Again, lack of good error messages hampered the effort to run the ccs-server-cli, which I was running from Windows Powershell. I had added it to the PATH environment variable. All I got was help screens depending on how far correct I had the command line.
