Hello All,

My team was using CCS ver 9 and 10 for development of firmware for AM335x, C28xx, AM6548 etc. under TI-RTOS and also bare metal applications.
We also used CCS to develop native PC application for unit tests for parts of the code by using MinGW complier as described here:

We planned to migrate to the new CCS 20.4 but I cannot find a way to support our unit tests by building PC applications in the new CCS 20.4.
I tried searching E2E forum but could not find anything regarding this topic.
Is this still possible in the new CCS?

Are you not working with CCS projects but looking to use just custom makefile projects? If so, then that functionality is no longer supported in CCS 20.x. Only CCS projects are offically supported.

Hello Ki,
Thanks for the answer. I would just like to confirm to be 100% sure.
In the old CCS v9.2 we used it to create standard eclipse C++ project which we used for unit tests (like shown in the attached image).
So this is not possible now?

This is correct. Only full CCS projects are officially supported. The stock Eclipse CDT projects that existed in CCS Eclipse are no longer supported with CCS 20.x

Ok thanks for confirmation.
We will use some other IDE for unit test project like VScode.
