CCS5 Build button mising

Hi,

In the ccs5 wiki, it shows a hammer on the tool bar for building the project. I do not have this on my tool bar. How can I make this hammer/build button visible? I've been through the options, but can't seem to find it amongst the million or so user settings.

Thanks,

Bob

  • Hi Bob,

can you send a screenshot?  Do you see CCS Edit in the top right where the name of the perspective is displayed?  Does this occur for all your workspaces?  How have you launced CCS?

    Best Regards,
    Lisa

It sounds like you are not inside the CCSEdit perspective, you can manually add this button to the perspective that you currently using. Select 'Window | Customize Perspective...', then select the 'Tool Bar Visibility' tab, and make sure the 'Build Configuration' checkbox is checked. It might prompt you to enable the build group command if you haven't already had it enabled.

P.S. If you are within CCSEdit perspective, try doing a reset perspective from the 'Window' menu.

  • That was it, thank you Patrick.
