AM2434: Custom board GPIO does not toggle

We try the led blink program on Launchpad and it works. On our custom board we use pin PRG0_PRU0_GPO4/AA2 with same program but this pin does not toggle. The power input to our board increases when program is loaded, so the CPU is doing something. I suspect the sysconfig does not update the pinmux. Please advise anything to try out.

Hi,

What is the direction of GPIO Pin? Is it input or output?

If output, please check the GPIO_OUT_DATAXY register for the value.

If input, to read the pin state check GPIO_IN_DATAXY register.

Please check the value of PADCONFIG92 (0x000F4170) register to check the pin multiplexing is done properly.

Hello, thanks for quick response...I am just groping my way around CCS v20 , but here is what I found:

I dont see GPIO_OUT_DATAXY register , where can I look?

The address you are showing above is for Padconfig register not for GPIO controller. The GPIO_OUT_DATAXY register are within GPIO Controller.

Please refer section 12.1.2.6 GPIO Registers of the device TRM for GPIO registers.
