AM2434: CCS20 - cannot "Create New Project" for PRU using PRU compiler

Which version of CCS are you using?

Please tell the steps you are following. I am able to import the PRU project in newer CCS.

Version: 20.4.1.4__1.10.1

Menu -> File -> Create New Project -> AM243 LP  (has no option for PRU only project)

Instead of creating new project from scratch, I will suggest to use the existing example from the SDK.

There are PRU project in SDK which you can directly import and make changes on the top of it.

I am going to reassign this thread to the CCS team to comment. Thomas is working with me on creating customer training for getting started with the PRU. Our documentation which is currently based on CCS12 documents "Creating the PRU project from scratch" - we need to know if this can be ported to CCS20, removed, etc.

Thanks for the confirmation Ki!

I will work with the team to drive the messaging to import the OpenPRU empty & empty_c projects as the primary "getting started" path (at least for AM243x, AM62x, AM64x). Will talk offline with the AM26x team on how they want to approach it.
