CCSTUDIO-THEIA: Integration of (external) SAST tools

Part Number: CCSTUDIO-THEIA

Will external code checking tools like Parasoft C/C++ Test, QA-Systems MISRA + CANTATA, Perforce QAC, Vector PC-Lint, which all of them usually provide extenstions for Visual Studio Code, integrate with (Theia based) Code Composer Studio V20.0.x? Has integration of any of these tools already been proven so far? Does TI partner with any of these tool manufacturers for integration into CCS V20?

All of these tools do provide also Eclipse plugins, but as CCS is no more eclipse based, this does not help.

    We have not done any validation ourselves regarding how will these 3rd party VS Code extensions work with CCS 20.x. We have partnered with tool versions in the past with CCS Eclipse based environment but not with for CCS Theia (20.x). Our stance is that if it is available on the Open VSX registry, it *should* work but there is no guarantee.
