not possible start debugging

Dear Sir

I am working with licenced CCS v.5.1 and MSP-FET430UIF. Today I did open CCS to continue working on project. After I did start debug MSP-FET430UIF asked me for

update. I did press update. After update I did not start debugging. Following messages appears

system_pre_init() 0x005C66  (_system_pre_init has only skeletal debug info)

can not reach entry point

system_pre_init() at 0x5c84

main() at main main c:32 0x005C2E

I can not start debugging , new project included.

What to do????

I am new in CCS and MSP430.

    Hi Bohdan,

    can I please ask a few questions to help debug this issue

    -what MSP430 are you using?  There are a small number requiring a patch with the new v3 dll that is shipped with CCSv5.

    -could you please attempt a manual update.  In the start menu you should be able to do this under Texas Instruments->MSP-FET430UIF Debug Interface

    -do you see any device manager warnings?  After the update, is your FET a CDC class USB device?

    Dear Sir

    Thank you for your respond. Mistake was on my side. I am very sorry. I was running Ccleaner on my PC. It did do several miskes in registers of my PC. After I reinstall CCS

    all are OK.
