CODECOMPOSER: Problem with creating the new empty project using DriverLib APIs in CCS V12x

Hi,

I am using Code Composer Studio (CCS) v12.x.

When I try to create a new empty project using DriverLib APIs, I do not see any DriverLib-related templates in the New Project wizard. I have highlighted this issue in the image below.

However, DriverLib-based example projects work correctly with SysConfig after importing them from C2000Ware. The DriverLib APIs, SysConfig generation, and project build process all work as expected in the imported examples.

Could you please let me know why the DriverLib project templates are not available when creating a new project and how I can enable them?

    Hello,

    The new project wizard templates are pretty basic. You should browse resource explorer as recommended in the link shown below:

    Then in Resource Explorer you can browse C2000Ware for examples. There are a bunch of driverlib examples for F280039C:

    Please note that CCS 12.x is no longer supported. If you are starting a new project, you may want to explore using our latest CCS 20.x version.
