Hi Srikanta,
From your screenshot it seems like you did not create a CCS project, but instead just a C project.
So as a next step could you please repreat what you did but make sure of the following
- please us a fresh workspace
- please go to File->New->CCS Project
Alternatively you can import an example using Project->Import Existing CCS/Eclipse Project.
Please keep us informed.

Lisa
Thanks Lisa for your helpful answer. Now my problem has been solved. I have written a code which simply write data to two external SBSRAM connected to the EMIFB CE0 and EMIFA CE0 address spaces and read back the data into the internal RAM of the processor(TMS320C6416). In my project I have added .gel and .cmd files. My project has been built correctly. But I am new in CCS so please check my project attached with this post 2234.bel.zip.
Hi Srikanta,
Unfortunately we can not wirte/debug code for you. Do you have a specific question about the project? Do you have a specific item you are unclear on?
Best Regards,
Lisa
Thank you Lisa.
Now my application code is ready but in my board the DSP processor will be booted from 8-bit external flash. So, please tell me what is the procedure to write the application code in the external flash through CCS v.4.
Best Regards,
Srikanta
Hi Srikanta,
I would look at the documentation in the product folder and wiki for your DSP. I would also search and post on the device forum instead of this CCS
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Main_Page
This is more of a device question really. Hopefully you should even be able to find an example.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Hello Lisa,
I know I'm replying to an old message. I just wanted to thank you for this answer and wanted to suggest that the screenshot in the wiki updated.
The screen shot shows "Existing Project into Workspace" selected, instead of "Existing CCS Eclipse Projects". I know it is my fault for not reading the text and just going by the screen shot. But it took me a while to realize my mistake and lost half of my hair because I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what is going on... If there was no screenshot in the wiki, I think I would not have selected the wrong option.
Brian
Hi Brian,
I have done my pass to pass this on to the starterware team.

Lisa
