I can't find the CCS project to rebuild this library in COFF format. Where is it located?C2000Ware_5_05_00_00

The F28003x device only supports ELF ABI(EABI) as it was released after COFF support was formally dropped from CCS in 2018. So the ROM libs will only be available in EABI based output.

When was support for COFF dropped? Is this documented somewhere? I know it is no longer the default but I've heard nothing about it being dropped. Everything else I've needed from C2000ware has a project in the CCS folder so the user can build it in COFF format.

Documentation since 2018 is full of instances stating ongoing support for COFF format. Here is an example from SPRU513AA revised March 2026..

COFF: These object files conform to the Common Object File Format (COFF). See the Common Object File Format Application Report (SPRAAO8) for details on this format. This format remains supported, but new features will not be implemented for the COFF ABI.
