Howto use the Predefined macro FILE and C99 standard??

How can I enable the predefined macros __FILE__, __LINE__ and C99 standard in the CCS version 5?

I think they are defined by default. But I will move your question to the CCS forum so someone there can provide more details.

__FILE__ and __LINE__ are C89 features, and are enabled by default. The compiler doesn't have a C99 mode, but it does support a few C99 features. See http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/C99_Extensions_in_TI_Compilers

I'm new to CCS and eclipse.

__FILE__ works fine...

I was just confused about the questionmark to the left saying "Syntaks error".
