Theese is an Error -2131 (Unable to access device register) which indicate that Code Composer Studio (CCS) is communicating successfully with the XDS200 debugger, but the debugger cannot establish a stable connection with the target chip on your card. Hi,

Can you take a look at our debugging JTAG guide. Specifically table 4-1 which gives some good debugging steps for the error that you are seeing.

In addition, can you share the .ccxml file that you are currently using in your attempt to connect to the device?

The issue is not resolved with all efforts. I was trying to upload the .ccxml file but it is not allowing. Pls suggest the wayout.

Hi Tyagi,

Which board are you using? is it a custom board or TI-board? Please tell your board.

Recently also customers can be able to connect XDS200 to Hercules boards:

(+) TMDSEMU200-U: 3.3v pin - Arm-based microcontrollers forum - Arm-based microcontrollers - TI E2E support forums

They can be able to communicate with controller through 20-pin debugger connector without any issues, so make sure your connections are as per to it.

Thanks for your msg. The customer is using Texas board only. However, the earlier purchase debuggers are working. Only this recently bought is not working. Please suggest how to contact After sakes team for warranty repair / replacment.
