Hello,
I am using Code composer version 4.2.4.00033 in my project. The code generation tool installed with this CCS is 6.0.1. I want to keep the same CCS version and downgrade the code generation tool from 6.0.1 to 5.2.1. Is it possible to do that? Can I just downgrade the code generation tool or I have to re-install CCS from scratch? I searched online to find solution but both CCS and code generation tool have been updated to new versions.
Please note that I am working on Avionics project in which I have to stick to CCS ver 4.2.4.00033 & code generation tool 5.2.1. Any suggestion?
Thank you,
Bhavin
Hi Bhavin,
with the exception of ARM and MSP430 compilers, our compilers are available here to download and install. What target do you use? The installation is through Window->Preferences->CCS->Build->Code Generation Tools
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Compiler_Releases
Please keep us informed.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Hi Lisa,
Thank you for the quick response.
I am working on Spectrum Digital EzDsp board having TMS320F28335. I am attaching the screen shot.
As you can see, I have code generation tool TI v6.0.1. And I want to have TI v5.2.1 instead. Any idea on how to change this?
Thanks & Regards,
Bhavin
Hi Bhavin,
did you follow my instructions ... they should work.
The installation is through Window->Preferences->CCS->Build->Code Generation Tools
The download for C2000 tools is here:
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Compiler_Releases
Please keep us informed.
When you setup a project you can then select this older version.
Best Regards,
Lisa
