How to trace C6A816x in CCS5.x

Hi,

I want to trace C6A816x using CCS5.x. I read the file http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/p/addpost.aspx. The file says I need to 'Highlight CS_DAP_DebugSS node'. I could add TI816x_trace_dapdebugss.gel in CSSTM_0 core. However, I could just find CortexA8 core after debug, and I can't find CSSTM_0 core, so I could not choose 'Enable_Trace' via Scripts, because I don't know where to find it.

Could you tell me how to do the trace of C6A816x using CCS5.x?

Hello,

The CSSTM_0 node is hidden by default. You need to right click on your board and select "Show all cores" in the context menu.

Hi,

Just adding to Ki's response, did you check the page below?

Another detail that I noticed as well from your post. Make sure the GEL file is added to the CS_DAP_DebugSS node and not to the CSSTM core.
