CCS5.1.1 Linux Doesn't Recognise Installed Sysbios, IPC or XDCTools

Hello.

I've installed the latest version of Code Composer (5.1.1) on Linux and I cannot get it to recognise the versions of sysbios, ipc or xdctools that are installed alongside it.

If I install sysbios and xdctools separately, these versions are detected correctly by Code Composer on startup, but I have not been able to find a link on the TI website for a download of IPC.

Diffing a working install against a non-working one, I can see missing MYKEY.DSA and MYKEY.SF files which maybe the problem if CCS uses these to detect the plugins.

Can anyone help?

Hi Simon,

what Linux do you run? Do you get any errors trying to locate or get CCS to recognize the tools?

Hello Lisa.

I am running on Ubuntu 11.10 64bit. I don't get any errors, it just doesn't find them. However it does find separately installed versions of Sysbios and XDCtools.

Update.

Just found the download link to IPC. This also works, so its just a problem with the bundled versions.

Hi Simon,

ok, thanks for the update and bringing this to our attention. I am going to dig into this to see if this reflects a bug/issue with the linux install.

Are you happy in the mean time - until the next Linux update/release with your current setup then?
