CSS v5 Free Bundled Licence

Currently I have a 90-day trial of CCS v5. I just recieved evaluation boards TMDXEVM6678LE with XDS560v2 Emulators.

Can I install the CCS Free Bundled Licence on mutliple computers for code development? Is only one PC 'activated' for debugging with the eval board? I would like to debug with simulators on mutliple computers.

So I will need to upgrade to node licence or floating licence when we begin debugging on production boards (non-eval boards)?

HI Nathan,

first of all the free limited license is related to the emulator used. For example the XDS560 is not included in this license type normally, only on certain evaluation boards. So your evaluation board qualifies (as many installs as you desire), However a non evaluation board with the XDS560 would require a full license.

The C6678LE EVM has onboard XDS560v2 emulation and thus is valid for use with the free bundle license. The licensing topic Lisa mentioned has more details as to what is supported by this free license. Regards, John
