CCS versione for TMS320C31

I am a mechatronics engineering student at the University of Genoa , i want to know what version of CCS I need to develop an embedded application for TMS320C31 which should be the processor in the Baldor NextMove ESB controller.

I downloader CCS v4.x from your site but i think is needed the CCS IDE version, compatible with my processor.

The question is: what I need to develop an embedded application for that processor and where can i find it?

C31 has not been supported by CCS for a very long time. Actually it has never been supported by CCS at all. You have to go back to the CC days (before it turned into CCS). Start a private conversation with me and we can discuss what your options are.

Hi Ankan,

You are also using C31? What Windows version are you using (state if you are using 32 or 64 bit also)? And did you ever have a copy of CC 4.x?

Hi Ki-Soo Lee,

I'am using C31 with the code generaton tools ver 5.11 on a virtual machine running Windows 98. I did never have a copy of CC 4.x.
