  • Hi ANston,

we know CCS does not really uninstall cleanly at times.

I would simply manually delete the installation folders.

Please keep us informed how that goes

  • Hi All,

I do know why my post has issue on E2E system.

    I post my question again.

My customer license TI CCS v5 for their project developing. They can install CCS without issue. After CCS V5 install successful, customer remove one hard disk (which has some system temp file folder when CCS install) from the system. Then customer try to un-install CCS V5, but get fail. the error message windows as below,

Can you guide me how do I resolve this issue? How do I force to un-install CCS V5 from system?

    Thanks for your great support!

  • Hi Lisa,

do you mean I should ask customer to delete CCS V5 folder by manual? not by un-install?

my customer try to re-install CCS V5 on the same folder, but still fail.

if re-install to another folder seems OK.

How do I tell customer to delete old folder?

    Best Regards,

    Antson Hu

  • Hi Antson,

yes, we delete the installation folder ourselves to uninstall a lot of times.

I have seen it happen that trying a second time gets CCS cleared from the program list but basically there is unfortunately no elegant solution.

So yes, have them delete their old installation folders and install into a new folder as they seem to have done.

    Does this help clarify?

    Best Regards,
