2 months ago i installed CCS Version: 5.1.1.00028. this version doesn't exit in the download page:

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS

and a newer version exits (version 5.1.1.00031 ) and The only difference between that build and this one is the location of some simulator files. This build (5.1.1.00031) corrects the location so that the simulators are visible in CCS.

i am using free license limited in time

should i upgrade my version ??? and how to upgrade ???

i hope i get the answer of the 2 questions and thank you in advance

Hi,

If you need the fix, then yes I would recommend moving to 5.1.1. It is always good to have the latest version regardless.

At the moment, the option to do this by an update/upgrade is not available. So I would suggest downloading 5.1.1 and installing it either over your existing installation or separately.

We do hope to provide an update service in the future, but this is likely over a month away yet.
