xds560 emulator query

I wish to use CCStudio V3.3 with a platform having DM6446.  DM6446 has TMS320C64x+ along with ARM9. Is XDS560 JTAG emulator compatible with the above.

If not, please suggest other emulators which could be used.

    Hi,

    An XDS560-class emulator is compatible with DM6446 and CCSv3.3 - keep in mind that this emulator is offered only through our third parties.

    However, if you are starting a new project I would definitely recommend a different route: you will have better performace paying a lot less if you invest in a XDS560v2 emulator and a license of CCSv5.1 (depending on the brand, the combined price of both is 2/3 of the price of a brand-new XDS560 emulator).

    Just for reference, check an estimate of prices for emulators and CCS licenses at our TI e-store.
