CCS 5.1 crashed after stop of debugging a controlSTICK demo

Hello,

for C28027 on controlSTICK I installed CCS v5.1 and controlSuite from web on a new Windows 7 (64bit) system.

All works fine but always after stop of a debug session the CCS shuts down.
The same effect an other user see for controlSTICK C28059.

Is this problem known ?

Hi Klaus,

does this occur for every workspace and project? Did you have the installation file and ccs folder(s) in a directory with special characters or accents? This includes where you downloaded and unzipped ccs initially.

Could you send any error logs or dump files generated? Please see this wiki for more information

Hi Lisa,

this effect was nearly identical with all demo projects.
We think it was a problem with the driver for JTAG and USB-UART-Bridge - after reinstalling this interface all works fine.
