  • Hi Vadivel,

what type of license do you have/plan to use?  What error do you see?  What is your current setup?

Please see this wiki for the supported license setups.

  • Hi Vadivel,

I just thought I would check whether there is any update here?  I wonder if you are trying to use the XDS510 in a situation where it would not be free to use.

  • I've run into the same problem.  I believe with my evaluation 90 day license,  the XDS510 is not supported until I upgrade to a full version.

However, It would be nice if the "Test Connection" feature of the configuration tool would mention that the evaluation version is limited.

    Instead I get this output

    [Start]

    Execute the command:

    %ccs_base%/emulation/drivers/sdjtag.exe -f %boarddatafile% -v -X reset -X scantest

    [Result]

    ** BoardFilePath: C:\Users\alynch\AppData\Local\.TI\2825812290\0\0\BrdDat\testBoard.dat
    ** Resetting Emulator
    -- Emulator is Reset
    ** Emulator Scan Test
    ERROR -- XDS510-USB Emulator not connected/enumerated

    [End]

  • I used the free limited licence for my 6678 evm. When I tried to set up the target configuration, I can not find the xds100v1 option in connection type. P.S. I installed the CCSv5.2 which should include the xds100 driver. Thank you.
