error when installing code composer - see the log file

Iam Prasanna,

I tried installing Code Composer Studio twice, downloading of all the components was successfull but when it tries to register the components the error message appears.

i have attached here with the log file .

Kindly give me a solution for this problem.

Hi Prasanna,

can you please provide more details? What version of CCS? What OS? Are you using the full installer? Have you unzipped the file before running the installer? Have you kept the installer and the installation directory to folder and directories that do not have accented or special characters?

COuld you zip and send the contents of your installerjammer registry directory (this is usually under program files or program files(x86))

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is Prasanna,

Iam Using

CCS version V5 5.1, WindowsXP Professional SP2(32 bit), I have downloaded the code composer exe from the link provided by the TI corp.

i have kept the installer exe in D: and iam trying to install the code composer in D:/ti folder. the directories are not accented or having special characters

Hi Prasanna,

could you please do the following.

1 - clean out the failed installation. Delete the ccsv5 folder and everything at the same level

2 - it looks like you may have used the lite installer. Please download the full installer from the link below. Put it in a directory with no special characters or accents

3 - Fully unzip the installer ... again no special accents or characters in any of the directories

2 - try installing again to a new directory like d:/myccs

Please keep us informed how this goes.
