MISRA Support in Code Composer Studio

Hello all,

I have seen some traffic regarding support for MISRA within CCS, including indications that the support was "hidden" in later versions of CCSv4. I am currently developing with CCS v4.2.3.00004, and it appears this option is indeed hidden. Some threads have indicated the plan was to fully support MISRA in v5, is that correct?

I am beginnig to see customer requirements for MISRA compliance. If I were to upgrade to v5 and enable the MISRA checks, what type of compliance can we claim?

The compiler tools included with CCSv5 have support for MISRA checking. Please see the compiler Users Guide for the processor family you are working with, there is a section in the Users Guide on how to enable misra checking. The option to enable it should also be visible in the CCS GUI.
