C2000 MISRA Rules

Codegen Gurus,

On this thread, there is a misra.txt file that shows the rules checked by the ARM compiler.

I've looked in the C2000 compiler package (6.0.2) and don't see this file.

  • Are the rules covered in the C2000 compiler the same? 
  • Is the list on the other thread current?
  • Customer question: what is the benchmark / validation suite used to check the checking of the MISRA checks :)

    That list should be valid. The compiler options dialog in CCS contains a GUI interface for the MISRA rules that lists all available rules. We cannot put this in the publicly available user guides because of licensing issues. We use the MISRA Exemplar suite to validate the MISRA support.
