How to Generate .COFF File

Hi all,

how can i genarate a coff file with CCS 5.1?

and why are C2000 DSP's not supportet for ELF/DWARF format, which would be even better for me right now?

If you are building for C2000, the default output generated in CCS5.1 will be COFF. We currently have ELF support for other platforms like C6000, ARM, MSP430, but not for C2000. ELF support for C2000 will be coming in the future but I'm not sure of the time frame.

So my .out File is allready coff format little confusing ?

No.

None of the present plans include ELF. We may add ELF support eventually, but that has not been determined yet.
