CCS Version: 5.1.1.00031 trial license problem

For the last couple days, I am trying out CCS V5.1 and so far has not been able to get the Black Hawk US560 JTAG emulator.  This emulator works fine with when I use CCS V3.3.  I have done a few installs and un-installs of CCS V5.1, and now I am seeing "unlicensed" displayed in CCS V5.1 IDE.   My understanding is that the trial license is good for 90 days, so how do I go about correcting this "unlicensed" problem?

Regards,

Jeff

  • Hi Jeff,

have you had a CCS trial before?   Could you please prepare your MAC address and a bit further info to send me offline (friend or conversation request).  In the mean time I will see about permission to get you a new 90 day license.  I do not suspect it will be an issue.

    Best regards,

    Lisa

  • Hi Lisa,

I don't know how to send info to you offline?  Can you point me to the procedure?

    Thanks

    Jeff

  • Hi Jeff,

actually before generating a customer extension, could you please try the extension we post on our wiki?

Please go to this wiki and the 90 day extension information is in the FAQ:

    http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Licensing_-_CCS

Please keep us posted and I did receive the friend request so thanks.  It will allow us to exchange information offline to resolve this if necessary.

    Best Regards,
    Lisa

  • Hi Lisa,

Followed the link you provided and got the trial license extended.  Problem resolved.

    Thanks
