CCS v5 taking more than 5 minutes to launch and give output.

Hello,

I am currently using CCS v5. It is taking more than 5 mins to launch. Can any one tell me how to fix this issue?

If you have, too many Projects in your workspace CCS takes it's time to start.

Try to reduce the projects in your Workspace or even clear it completely.

Hi Stefan,

I have only one project and have even tried deleting .metadata file. Also, my PC meets the system requirements for ccsv5. I cannot understand, why its still slow!!

Hi,

an extreme startup time is not normal. We have seen this caused by antivirus software, proxy settings, and such things.

One thing you can try and check aside from antivirus it to go to Window->preferences->general->starup and shut down. Try disabling the top 4 items for example.
