ccs5 texas instruments simulator

Good Morning

I'm starting  a first test project for CCS5 and EVE Simulator. I want to run vcop_array_add_uns_char. I can build it. No problem. But starting it with debug I get the message box "The project xy is not compatible with any CPU in the target configuration".

I used two different build settings for Familiy ARP32 as well as EVE.

I guess there is ssomething wrong in my configs but what.

Oliver

  • HI Oliver,

what is your setup exactly?   This message seems to indicate that the device you project settings does not match the device/is not compatible with the device in your target configuration (.ccxml) file.

Could you please send a bit more information on what you are doing?  Maybe even a few screenshots.

    Best Regards,
    Lisa

  • Hello Lisa,

thanks for answering. I've set connection to Texas IInstruments Simulator and as Device the three different EVE Simulators. For Build settings I'm using "Family EVE" ans "Variant Generic Device" or "Family ARP32" and "Variant Generic Device v210"

    Compiler version TI v1.0.0.A11335

I hope the attached files are uasable.

    Best Regards,

    Oliver

  • Hi Oliver,

we did not realise you had access to this special device.  It is quite possible you need to make sure you CCS installation was done with the password.  There is a password you can enter when doing a custom installation that allows special access.

We are not authorized to give that so I would also double check your FAE.

Please keep us informed but I am not sure how much further assistance I can provide at this moment.

    Best Regards,
    Lisa
