CCS free version

Hello,

I see that there is CCS free version in TI web page. What is the diffrenece between the free version and the other versions  ? (What is the Limit on the free limited version). I ask the question because I want to use CCS just for flashing purpose.

    Hi Ran,

    yes, there are a couple situations where CCS can be used for free.  One is with the XDS100 emulator and certain evaluation kits.  The other is that there is a code size limited version for the MSP430.  However there is no flashing tool available through CCS for the MSP, but rather a free tool from Elprotronic (www.elprotronic.com)
