CCS crashes while profiling

Hello All,

I am trying to profile FDK algorithm in C6678 core.

The version of CCS presently I am using is CCs v5.0.23

CCS closes all of a sudden after the profiling starts.

When consulted TI they suggested to use latest version namely CCS 5.1.xx or late

When i try to connect the use with the version TI suggested licensing issues arise. 

Kindly let me know how to proceed in the profiling.

    Hi,

    unfortunately CCSv5.0.x is from a family of beta releases which are only supported in a limited manner.  You should use a released version of CCS as suggested.  (The latest is 5.1.1 which depending on your setup does require a license that is correct).   You can get a 90 day trial of CCS so that you can confirm before moving forward that these bugs and this behaviour is not present in the released version.

    Yesterday I have tried with CCSv5.1 and it also got crashed overnight. Today morning also we tried and got the same result.

    Hi,

    ok, let us see if we can dig into this.  Can you provide further details on the steps you are taking?  Do you get any error logs or .dmp files generated?  Could you please send them.
