How to compile a project which contains .c & .cpp files

Hi,

I am using .c & .cpp in my project while compiling the project it is showing compilation error. Undefined symbol Class & Public. I am using TMS320F28335 with CCSv5.1. Is there any settings I need to modify in Build option. Please help me in this regard.

Hi,

You should be able to mix C and C++ files in a single project, provided you follow certain guidelines for function calls. Check the thread below:

Regarding the specific error, make sure the file that has class and public (fully lowercase characters) types has a cpp extension.

Also, I will move this thread to the compiler forum so the experts there may have any additional comments.
