IAR "Debug without Downloading" in CCSv4 for MSP430

When I was using IAR I was able to debug my program without having a target connected, using the "Debug without downloading option". I've tried to do it in CCSv4, I've followed the instructions in this post http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/p/41947/146221.aspx#146221 but I think it isn't what I'm looking for.

Hi Biara,

what do you mean by with no target connected? I suppose, noticing your other post you mean simulate essentially? In CCS this is not supported on the MSP430. You can do a symbol only load as you saw in that thread, however still need a target to do this.
