Managed make file can not be read

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

Hi Champs,

My customer has problem with importing example code. Error message pop up when importing it. It says the managed make project file could not be read. The imported project is under controlSUITE path "C:\ti\controlSUITE\device_support\f2806x\v120\F2806x_examples\cpu_timer". I found some threads said it could be comipler verion too old. But my customer CCS is v4.2.4 and compiler generation tool is updated to v6.0.1. What could be the cause of the error?

  • HI Rickie,

how did the customer import the project?  What C2000 compiler versions do they have installed?  You can find this under WIndow->PReferences->CCS->Build->Code Generation Tools.  What version of Control Suite Software?

    Best Regards,

  • Hi Lisa,

I found the problem. My customer did install CGT v6.1.0 but CCS did not apply this compiler. So I manual refresh it to make it effective to CCS. Now we have no problem with importing the example projects. As a result, the error msg is due to CGT version issue. Thanks for your suggestion.
