CCS5.2 installation problem

HI, I am not able to complete ccs5.2 install because of following problem. I was upgrading from ccs5.1 to ccs 5.2, and the install folder chosen is different from that of CCS5.1.

This occurred when CCS was auto discovering the extension sites.

Operation details
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: RTSC/XDCtools (IDE Client) 3.23.1.43 (org.eclipse.rtsc.xdctools.product.ui.feature.group 3.23.1.43)
Missing requirement: XDC RTA Plug-in 3.23.1.43 (com.ti.rta 3.23.1.43) requires 'bundle com.ti.dvt.rta.interfaces 0.0.0' but it could not be found
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: RTSC/XDCtools (IDE Client) 3.23.1.43 (org.eclipse.rtsc.xdctools.product.ui.feature.group 3.23.1.43)
To: com.ti.rta [3.23.1.43]

Pankaj,

Can I confirm that you just did a "check for updates" from the help menu and selected the CCS 5.2 service release, and tried to install it?

Hi Pankaj,

could you please provide a few further details?

- what OS are you using?

- how did you try to upgrade? And what exactly did you experience? Errors, error logs etc.

- Did you try simply installing 5.2 by itself and downloading it, instead of as an upgrade?

Could you send the contents of your installjammer registry directory?

No, I did not check for updates. I downloaded a offline installer and installed it at a different location other than ccs5.1 (my previous installation).

Could you also reply to Lisa's questions? The InstallJammer Registry folder contents will be very useful to us to help understand why it failed.

Pankaj---I received following errors

Could you send the contents of your registry directory?

Are there any other sub-folders in the "installjammer registry"? The attached one only has the compiler log. The one of most interest is the "ccsv5" sub-folder.
