ccs with matlab

hi ,

i am doing simulink with c6713 dsk. i added board to pc by c6713 diagonistics and select the target by set up. then in matlab via command window i opened ccsboardinfo. then i run the model, but i am getting an error like

The call to idelink_ert_make_rtw_hook, during the entry hook generated the following error:
Could not connect to the board specified in Target Preferences block

This version of the Embedded IDE Link does not support your version of Code Composer Studio(TM) IDE. The Code Composer Studio(TM) version supported in this release is 3.3. Refer to the Embedded IDE Link data sheet for more information on product requirements.

i am using matlab r2010a and ccs 3.1

how should i clear my errors? pls, suggestions will be greatful.

We upgraded all our DSK6713 installations to CCS 3.3.1. I forget how we did it; maybe through an "update" option in CCS 3.1 itself.

Hi,

If I am not mistaken DSK6713 boards came bundled with a DSK-only version of CCS that did not allow any upgrades (check here), therefore you would forcefully need to install a full version (Platinum) of CCSv3.3 and perform all updates to properly have a working system.

Check this discussion on the Mathworks site where there is a link that lists the compatibility between Matlab and CCS.
