Hi Paul,

Sorry for the delay. I thought I had found a solution for this but I can't seem to get it to work. I thought that enabling the option was failing in DSS because the debugger may be prompting for confirmation like you would see if you did it via the GUI. There is an option to suppress the dialog (actually you can specify a default answer to the dialog so it will not need a manual response) and that would allow for the DSS API to enable the option without issue. It should work but I am still seeing the error. I'm still digging through this.

Hey Paul,

You have probably already seen/tried this but I stumbled upon some code at the bottom of our wiki that references enabling real-time mode. It can be found at the bottom of the 'Debugger Properties' section of our Debug Server Scripting wiki found here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Debug_Server_Scripting#Debugger_Properties

The line of code that I am referencing is:

// enable real-time mode
debugSession.options.setBoolean("AllowInterruptsWhenHalted",true);

Yes, that's the command that fails most of the time.

As I said in the original post I need a way to reliably enable this without getting the "SEVERE: C28xx: Realtime was not enabled" error back. Not only do I not know why any one time will succeed or fail, but the only indication that it failed is the console output ""SEVERE: C28xx: Realtime was not enabled". I do not get a Java exception.
