CCSv5.1 - rename project name

Hi,

I'm trying to rename existing project name and I'm always getting error, sometimes it works with the error but sometimes it doesn't work, is there a special way to do this?

The errors are different, for example - "java.lang.NullPointerException"

There was a defect in CCSv5.1 that would cause a null pointer exception when renaming a project that contained RTSC content (such as BIOS). That bug was fixed in 5.2. I had another user last week who was having the same error when renaming a non-BIOS project. When they upgraded to CCSv5.2 they no longer had the issue.

Which version of CCS are you on?

I'm using 5.1, does 5.2 is an official one supporting all the devices(C55x, C66x, C2x, ARM...)?

HR,

Yes CCSv5.2 is an official release supporting (C55, C66, C28x, ARM, MSP, Stellaris, Hercules, OMAP...)

If you like you can download it and install it in a separate directory from CCSv5.1, just copy your license file into the CCSv5.2 installation.
