Where can I find MSP430 CGT 3.2.1

Good evening,

I have been using CCS 5.x with the MSP 4.x compilers, but I still need to maintain old projects that use 3.2.1.  Is CGT 3.2.1 for MSP430 available as a download?  I did not see as an available update.  I tried locating 3.2.1 in both CCS 4.2.4 and CCS 5.2 with no luck.

How can I obtain CGT 3.2.1 for MSP430?

    Well, I partially answered my own question.  I found the ti_cgt_msp430_3.2.1_setup_win32.exe installer on an old CCSv4 installation DVD.  This solves my immediate problem, but I'm still curious why the update sites don't offer the old compilers.  This will cause headaches for maintenance of legacy code bases.  Thoughts are appreciated.

    Chris,

    In CCS 4.2.4 I can see MSP430 codegen tools v3.2.3 and 3.3.3 available as updates. You are correct that the older versions on these 3.2.x and 3.3.x streams are not posted there but since the minor version increments are simply bug fixes, we hope that most users will be able to update to the latest version on a particular version stream. Ofcourse, if an older version is still required, we can certainly make arrangements to send it offline as needed. I am glad you were able to find it in an older CCSv4 and are able to move on.
