Hi,

I have a problem to compile project.

During installl, I don't see any error message.

I compile with given hello world project(RTSC), it occurs error.

I have install many times by various means like internet security low, without filewall..

My environment is winXP. the error message is as below.

I install with default path and C:/ti/ccsv5/utils/bin/gmake has a gmake.

I don't know why this message comes out.

How can i do??

Hi Sun Tom,

there are two things here I suggest checking first

- please try minimizing the path. I know in at least some cases, there is a character limit on it.

- did you have antivirus disabled during installation

- I notice there are a few things in the program files directory which includes a space in the directory/path name. Please try moving these items to C:\ti as well or a different directory

thanks for your reply,I have try the suggestion of yours ,this time,I wait a long time for complie,about 20 min,the console :

making package.mak (because of C:/ccs5.2/xdctools_3_23_03_53/packages/xdc/bld/bld.js) ...

js: "C:/ccs5.2/xdctools_3_23_03_53/packages/xdc/tools/Cmdr.xs", line 51: Error: xdc.tools.configuro: configuration failed due to earlier errors (status = 2); 'linker.cmd' deleted.

gmake: *** [configPkg/compiler.opt] Error 1

gmake: Target `all' not remade because of errors.

Hi Sun Tom,

it seems that your .cfg file does not exist or can not be found. Please check this ... both that you have one and that CCS can find it. What BIOS version was this project created with? Is this a new or imported project?

I am sure that .cfg file exist or can not be found.It is a example of ccs.project is a new one .

I think it is problem of IDE.

I complie a new project in another PC(succ) ,and imported mine.It is wrong.

Sun,

'Example_2806xAdcSoc' is a project that comes with controlSUITE. Are you using some modified version of it?
